We caught up with Annie Duke as she hosted a charity tournament to benefit After School All Stars at Commerce Casino in LA May 20th, 2010. We asked her about the recent success of the women of poker, the upcoming WSOP, UIGEA deadline, encryption and cheating scandals at UB, Celebrity Apprentice and much more.


Annie Duke is one of the most famous female poker players in the world. She recently appeared on Donald Trump's hit TV show Celebrity Apprentice where she lost in a controversial final to comedian Joan Rivers. Annie has over $3.6 million dollars in career live tournament cashes including winning the 2004 Tournament of Champions and banking $2 million for the win. Her brother Howard Lederer is also a famous pro nicknamed "The Professor" and is an original member of team Full Tilt.

Annie Duke has cashed for over $3.6 million dollars in live tournaments since 1994 and only trails Kathy Liebert in career tournament earnings for female players.
